Bespoke Candle Dust Covers

Candle dust covers have two purposes. The first to prevent dust settling onto the surface of your candles if they are not boxed or have no lids. Dust once settled onto the slightly sticky surface of a candle is difficult to remove and can look unsightly.

The second function can be for branding and informational purposes. Your candle dust cover can be printed one or both sides with your brand colours and logo along with the option of additional safety/warning information.

Some customers recently also add a QR code to lead their end user to a location with more information that they would like to share. eg. Brand story, candle care information or competition/signup links.

The standard dust cover is made from 300gsm ( think decent business card thickness ) and can be printed in colour on one or both sides. It also has has a laminate ( cello glaze ) finish applied to both sides over the printed surface. This helps minimise the absorption of candle fragrance or candle "sweat" than can be experienced with a change in temperature or the use of certain fragrances or a high fragrance load. If the candle dust cover has no laminate applied, the moisture can be absorbed more easily and affect the printed artwork. The most popular laminate finish by far is matt laminate. The other option is gloss laminate.

For customers who have a special requirement for a 100% waterproof dust cover, we offer one made of YUPO waterproof material. It can be printed one or both sides. I would not suggest adding a tab as it is quote flexible and when you bend up the tab to 90 degrees, it may not stay in position as well as a standard dust cover produced on paper card.

For those who require a more vintage or eco feel, we also produce dust covers using 300gsm Kraft card. This material has no laminate options.

The last option is a 310gsm uncoated card if you want a more natural finish card with full colour printing one or both sides option.

Candle dust covers are all made custom, so you can your own custom size produced, with or without a tab along with any number of wick holes and which shapes. Even the outside circle can be cut into a custom pattern shaped border. A unique die tool ( think cookie cutter ) is made for your job allowing these options.

Additional options of hot foil stamping or blind embossing can be added to your dust cover for an additional premium affect.

Bespoke candle dust covers start from 200 pieces per design and are produced in multiples of 200. So for example you could order 400, 1000 or 1600 pieces.
